ABOUT
After many years of adventures and travel, all the time looking for the perfect location, we found our beautiful 100-year-old house, 'Casa Das Margaridas' to setup our Bed and Breakfast. The house has been renovated to keep as many Portuguese traditional features as possible, with beautifully tiled bathrooms, renovated rooms keeping with the character of the house, and modern touches to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The serenity of the gardens and pool in the spectacular rural setting add to the tranquillity and relaxed lifestyle of the house.
The house is located in the heart of the ‘Silver Coast’ countryside, close to beautiful beaches, incredible historical sites and the old-world charm of Caldas da Rainha in Portugal.
Close by are plentiful cafes and restaurants offering numerous varies of Portuguese and International cuisine. The countryside is a feast for your eyes and offers the opportunity for peaceful walks, bike riding and sightseeing. The beaches along the ‘Silver Coast’ are truly amazing, offering plenty of opportunity to swim, surf, kitesurf and walk.
OUR ROOMS
We have three rooms available:
Suite Lavanda (max 3 persons using sofa bed) with separate living/kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom.
Studio Rosa (max 2 persons) with separate bathroom and large living space that includes a small kitchenette.
Jasmine Room (max 2 persons) with separate bathroom and small kitchenette

Self cater or we can offer you 2 breakfast choices
Option 1: (€6 pp)
Continental breakfast basket delivered to your room.
Option 2: (€8 pp)
Full cooked breakfast served in the dining room.
Free Wifi
Wifi and smart TV are available in all rooms of the casa.
If you need something printed to ease your onward journey do not hesitate to ask.
Garden
Our extensive garden and orchard are there for you to enjoy. We have a swimming pool, quiet nooks to relax and read a book or just soak up the wonderful views of the rural valley below.
Family chickens for you to feed and an orchard to pick!
Housekeeping
Twice weekly housekeeping will occur unless privacy requested. Towel for use by the pool are available.
Enhanced cleaning standards to meet COVID 19 requirements.
Pool
Our 10 metre pool is surrounded by a huge terrace which incorporates a pool side kitchen and BBQ area. Let us know if you need us to cater for your BBQ !

Aussie BBQ - Meat packs and salads
OR Portuguese BBQ- Chicken/Ribs with Portuguese sides.
Dining Options
Each room has limited kitchen facilities with the poolside BBQ and kitchen also at your disposal.
We offer breakfast either a basket to your room or in the main kitchen at an additional price
There are also many dining options in the vicinity of the casa that we can recommend.
